International Dance Day

In 1982 the first International Dance Day was presented by the International Theatre Institute ITI

This day is a celebration day for those who can see the value and importance of the art form “dance”, and acts as a wake-up-call for governments, politicians and institutions which have not yet recognised its value to the people and to the individual and have not yet realized its potential for economic growth.

At Virtual Management we are active in the intersection of arts, culture, technology and science to inspire the leaders of tomorrow and we are proud to be in the board of IverCulture in Sweden.

We have also put together a document of the dance culture effect on society, you can find it here Dance for humanity and society

And for those who are close to Trondheim end of this week, take the chance to watch Landscape, a unique performance that explores the intersection of two groove-based movement practices and is created for two dancers with backgrounds in house and folk dance.
